Blooming christmas tree

Use branches to make thin bundles. Join these bundles of branches to one another to create a conical structure which can be hung up by the tip. Use steel wire to bind it together: it’s flexible and strong. Conceal the bindings with champagne-coloured ribbon. Then decorate the ‘tree’ with water bottles and test tubes. Secure them with three colours of ribbon: champagne, copper and red. Fill the vases with water and flowers in the colours of the ribbons. If you choose a different selection of colours, your tree will have a very different look. Experiment to your heart’s content.

A hanging floral Christmas tree is handy in places where a traditional Christmas tree could easily be knocked over, such as businesses, shops and restaurants. The floral Christmas tree is not just practical; you’ll want a tree like this in your home as well!
