Jolly and a real everyman's friend, that's the Trollius. The Trollius, also known as Bullet Buttercup, exudes a warm and vibrant energy through the combination of its bright, orange and yellow colours. The flower grows in May-June, making it and real springtime topper.
The Bullet Buttercup flower stands on long, sturdy stems and is therefore also suitable as a cut flower. When closed, the flowers look a bit like a bullet. When open, they resemble a large buttercup, hence the Dutch name: Kogelboterbloem. Combine the Trollius with an airy plant or ornamental grass for a playful effect. One thing is for sure: this cheerful flower is a great addition to your assortment.
There are several techniques you can apply to the Trollius. Think of making arrangements, a bouquet, a mono-bouquet or drying.
